About the Speaker
Almost three decades as an IP attorney, with extensive experience in transactions involving IP (including M&A, joint ventures, and IPOs) as well as patent portfolio building and IP monetisation, Daniel Collopy has lectured on IP issues in the United States, Australia, England, India, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and the United States, and has been teaching classes in Singapore on patent law, the business of IP (IP valuation and monetisation), and patent drafting and prosecution. He is a US Patent Attorney and a Principal at Spruson & Ferguson (Asia) Pte Ltd. Established in 1887, Spruson & Ferguson is one of the largest intellectual Property (IP) service providers in Asia-Pacific.
